Thetford Forest in Suffolk is 50,000 acres of forest with 30 miles of bike and walking trails and is an ideal location to have an outdoors activity such as Go Ape!
The Go Ape at Thetford has a highest point from the ground of 11m (36 ft) and it’s longest zip wire is a whopping 133m (436 ft) giving you a very nice long fun ride!
Thetford Forest is around the following lengths of drive from the following locations:
London: 2.5 hours
Peterborough: 1.5 hours
Norwich: 1 hour
Cambridge: 1 hour
The price of the Go Ape adventure at Thetford Forest is £25 for over 18’s and £20 for those ages 10-17 years old.
If you want to get booked in then it is open from Friday March 27th until Sunday 1st November and open weekends throughout November. Opening hours (dependant upon light) is from 9am until 5pm although this can be extended from 8.30am until 6pm during the busier periods!
